Fishing has been good here in the bay lately . The water temps are in the mid 70s and there are trout, flounder,spanish and redfish actively feeding all over the bay ,That of course mixed in with ladyfish,bluefish,gafftops and other fun but less desirable species . Your rod will be bent if you fish this time of year !I was running/swimming our Labrador Retriever up on the sandbar by the swingbridge yesterday evening and 25′ away from me a tarpon rolled . I was throwing grubs [along with the tennis ball] and caught a couple sunshine bass from the bank . On our stop at a creekmouth on the way home I caught a nice dinner size flounder . I had caught a limit of very nice size trout there on Sun .
I guess this leads me back to the title of this post …..
TIME TO GET OUT ON THE WATER !!
